York Community Solar Farm completed by Standard Solar will bring clean energy savings to area residents and businesses and help New York reach sustainability goals

Standard Solar, SolarPark Energy and Catalyst Power Holdings LLC partnered to complete a 7.1 MW Community Solar array in York, NY. Standard Solar funded the construction of the system and will function as long-term owner-operator. SolarPark Energy developed the project while Catalyst Power manages subscriber acquisition and customer service for the project.

The array’s single-axis tracker system is expected to generate 10,794,000 kWh annually and benefit hundreds of local residents and businesses who have subscribed to the system. The project is dedicated in memory of Thomas Guzek, the founder of SolarPark Energy and tireless advocate for clean energy proliferation in New York.

The York Community Solar Project will help New York meet the goals set by the state’s Climate Act to generate 70% of New York’s electricity from renewable energy by 2030.
