Standard Solar, in partnership with Caerus Piceance, LLC, has completed the 12.18-megawatt (MW) Wheeler Gulch Solar Project in Colorado. This large-scale solar installation is designed to provide clean, renewable energy to support Caerus Piceance’s operations, demonstrating the power of strategic solar development in the energy sector.
“This project was initiated to lock in the cost of a portion of Caerus Piceances’s energy requirement for decades, and displace coal fired electricity from the grid with clean solar power,” said Dave Keyte, CEO, Caerus Piceance.
