Lake County Leads by Example: 2.4 MW Solar Project Powers Public Infrastructure and Advances Sustainability Goals
Lake County, Illinois, is taking a major step toward sustainability with the completion of a 2.4-megawatt (MW) ground-mounted solar array designed to power the county’s Central Permit Facility. Standard Solar partnered with Lake County and WCP Solar to develop, finance, and operate the system, providing a cost-effective renewable energy solution for the facility.
