2025 was a year defined by progress — measured not just in megawatts, but in partnerships, impact and trust. Across the country, our team at Standard Solar continued to deliver on our promise to power communities and businesses with reliable, sustainable clean energy while creating long-term value for our partners and customers.

As I look back, it’s remarkable to realize I’ve been part of Standard Solar for 17 years. During that time, I’ve seen this industry — and our company — navigate market shifts, policy changes, economic cycles and rapid technological advancement. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: our unwavering commitment to doing what’s right for our partners, our customers and the communities we serve.

As we close out 2025, I’m reflecting on the milestones that strengthened our position as one of the nation’s leading owners and operators of community and commercial solar projects — and on the incredible people and partnerships who made it all possible.

Scaling for Impact

In 2025, Standard Solar surpassed 680 MW of community and commercial solar capacity nationwide — owned, operating and under construction. From schools and municipal facilities to business campuses and farms, our projects are generating tangible economic and environmental benefits across the United States.

That growth stems from a deliberate strategy: focusing on projects in the 1 to 50 MW range where our capital strength, technical expertise and speed to execution make the greatest impact. Across Illinois, Maryland, New Mexico, New York, Virginia and other states, we brought new systems online that are lowering energy costs, reducing emissions and building local resilience.

Speed and Execution

Speed matters — especially in today’s market. This year, our team once again proved why Standard Solar is a trusted partner for developers and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPCs) seeking a reliable long-term owner.

Through proven financing models, in-house engineering and a commitment to transparent collaboration, we delivered projects faster and more efficiently — even amid supply-chain and interconnection challenges. Each success reinforces what we’re known for: turning opportunity into operation — quickly, responsibly and at scale.

Partnerships that Deliver

No one succeeds in this industry alone. In 2025, we deepened relationships with developers, municipalities and organizations who share our vision of sustainable progress. Together, we expanded clean energy access, supported schools and local governments, and advanced policies that drive distributed generation forward.

Every project we complete reflects the shared vision of our partners — people who, like us, believe in clean energy that works for everyone.

Sustainability in Action

Our projects don’t just generate electricity — they deliver real environmental and community effects. This year, Standard Solar projects generated 639 gigawatt hours (GWh) of clean electricity — offsetting an estimated 453,000 metric tons of CO₂ and powering the equivalent of 60,000 homes nationwide.

We also continued to advance pollinator-friendly and agrivoltaic initiatives, ensuring our solar sites coexist harmoniously with local ecosystems. And in September, we released Standard Solar’s latest Sustainability Report, aligned with SASB Standards — another step forward in our commitment to transparency and measurable progress across our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities.

Our People, Our Strength

Behind every array is an incredible team. In 2025, we welcomed nearly 30 new employees, growing our technical depth and operational expertise while celebrating the dedication of those who have been part of Standard Solar’s journey for years.

Our culture — rooted in integrity, innovation and impact — continues to be our greatest strength and the foundation for everything we do.

Looking Ahead

2026 is already shaping up to be another year of momentum. Our growing pipeline includes both community and commercial & industrial (C&I) projects that will further solidify Standard Solar’s role as a trusted partner, long-term owner and sustainability leader.

We’ll continue to invest in projects that power progress — faster, smarter and more sustainably — because delivering on our promise means never standing still.

From all of us at Standard Solar, thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we’re powering a cleaner, brighter future.
