Division Road showcases Standard Solar’s ability to bring complex solar-plus-storage projects to life in ways that expand community access to renewable energy while supporting Massachusetts’ evolving grid and clean energy priorities.

Located on seven acres in Bristol County, this 2.38 MW ground-mount community solar array paired with 999 kW of DC-coupled battery storage produces approximately 2,500 MWh annually. As a community solar-plus-storage project, it helps extend the benefits of renewable energy to Massachusetts residents and businesses that might not otherwise be able to access them. The battery storage component adds flexibility and resilience to the New England grid, making clean energy available when demand is high. The system also supports the state’s groundbreaking Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) Program, which is helping drive deployment of 3,200 MW of solar energy across the Commonwealth.

Standard Solar partnered with New Leaf Energy and EDF power solutions to bring the project through development challenges and into construction, engineering and build-out, and now serves as the system’s long-term owner and operator.
